Beginning Photo Journalism

Photo Journalism

Well, never done it before, don't know where it will take me. But I know after highschool and college ill be using it as a profession so. As of this weekend and over the next week or so ill be choosing a topic, running about snapping pictures of it, and then researching it out to give the deviant art members a bit of history and information on the topics im capturing within the lens of my camera.

Since I don't quite know what topics to do, im going to allow you guys to suggest a few to me. If you have one, shout it out, if not. Guess you'll just have to be surprised. :]

I would like to know if you recommend any special camera for me, cause i'm interessting in buying a new one, and since you are my favorite photographer here i would like to know your opnion on the cameras you like and stuff, and if possible check my gallery D:

Hey, well - I haven't been too busy with my own pictures because of the amount of time I have been spending with my music, so I don't quite know the latest and greatest cameras to choose from. =( But a good way to find out whether your getting what you are going to pay for is to check consumer reviews on Google about the different cameras :) Your gallery is coming along quite well, i like the new sunset picture there, the light rays behind the clouds are beautiful :)

Ooo, took a look at them, i love them! Theres a few that i noticed had a high iso which distorted the image on blow up but it looks great so not much to worry about :) Have you tried anything with macro in droplets? I think you'd have fun with that
